A big issue that I have noticed in my years as an athlete, trainer, and coach is that neither personal training, online coaching, physical therapy, or nutritional counseling alone is enough to provide athletes or everyday individuals with the care they need to lead a healthy, physically active lifestyle. They are all linked pieces to a puzzle, each one having an impact on the other. You can have an awesome trainer or coach design you a great workout program, but what happens if the nutrition is not taken into account as well? What happens when injury comes knocking at the door? No doubt you can make some type of measurable progress with one, but when all are tied together and integrated into a well designed plan tailored to the individual, that’s magic right there. Not many coaches/PTs/RDNs can offer that. Some may claim to be able to do so, but do they actually have the background and education to do so without crossing their scope of practice? I doubt that. I am going to provide that for you.
I understand that adapting new fitness habits is difficult and often times fails. I understand the difficulty of striving for new heights. My goal is to change your view on fitness, so that it becomes a part of who you are and your lifestyle. I strongly believe that if you practice healthy habits, you will be able to obtain a healthy lifestyle.
